About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Communications Senior Manager, a critical member of the Human Resource (HR) Communications team. You will lead a team in the planning and delivery of world-class HR communications that will increase employee awareness, adoption and action of HR programs and initiatives, supporting the HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and HR Shared Services including other HR programs, products and services such as Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Transformation and Policies.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead a team responsible for providing strategic communications counsel, services, and support to Human Resources to elevate priorities, initiatives, and further the HR story around transformation and culture
  • Serve as strategic advisor to HR leaders on communications approach, messaging, and reputation and issues management
  • Consult with senior leaders and their teams to understand HR communication needs that will improve the employee and manager experience
  • Develop integrated communication roadmap including messaging and cadence for multiple HR campaigns and cyclical communications in the U.S. and globally
  • Translate complex information into engaging, employee-centric messaging and communications
  • Write and edit a variety of complex and/or sensitive communications including organizational announcements, communication cascade plans, key messages, and Q&As
  • Provide strong leadership to communications team members, including coaching, collaboration, and a focus on individual talent development
  • Collaborate and partner across Stakeholder Relations and Corporate Communications to coordinate work and ensure a 'One Wells Fargo' approach
  • Align team with the enterprise functions communications model to help ensure a consistent approach with clear understanding of roles and responsibilities
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 6+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Human Resource corporate communications
  • Project Management skills with the ability to pursue ideas from strategy to execution
  • Analyze content and data to identify trends and opportunities and turn into actionable items to meet business objectives
  • Experience developing integrated communications strategies that align with business objectives
  • Experience in crisis communications/ issues management
  • Experience leading, high performing, geographically dispersed, cross function team
  • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
  • Advanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams)
  • Relevant experience in a Financial Services or similar highly regulated industries a plus
