Job Summary: The Donor Communications Manager is responsible for the overall success of the annual and mid-level giving campaign, including growing the donor base through multichannel strategies, renewing and upgrading donor support, strengthening donor relationships with CASS, and developing a pipeline of major giving level prospects for other members of the team. Will have primary responsibility for sustaining and growing the number of annual and mid-level donors by ensuring a positive and engaging donor experience.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for implementation and management of department’s strategic communications plan and calendar, including drafting, review and distribution of marketing and solicitation direct mailings, appeals, electronic communications, and strategic solicitation and informational collateral.
- Lead the planning and implementation of campaign initiatives focused on new and recurring donations, including AZ Charitable Organization Tax Credit, Giving Tuesday, AZ Gives Day, and Heat Relief.
- Develop public relations/media relationships and advertising campaigns as needed.
- Collaborate with Development and Programs teams to craft valuable and engaging content.
- Develop multichannel strategies and tactics to reach larger audiences and share with community members and donors the story of CASS
Work Environment: This job primarily operates in an office indoor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee must be able to self-transfer and move throughout the facilities, between buildings, and around campus at multiple sites. Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze reports and data. Visual acuity and physical ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field;
- Minimum three years of experience in donor communications and stewardship for a nonprofit;
- Familiarity with CRM Donor Databases (Donor Perfect preferred) and email marketing systems (such as Constant Contact);
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook calendaring, highly accurate data entry skills;
- Reliable transportation and valid Arizona driver license, proof of insurance and a 39-month satisfactory driving record; must be willing and able to use personal vehicle for off-site events;
